Is VAD Mobile Compatible With My Car?

• VAD-Mobile is compatible with virtually all VW/Audi Group vehicles with ECU's that communicate over the K-Line network. This covers most models from 1990 - 2005. VAD Mobile cannot connect with ECU's that communicate over the CAN-Bus network, so has limited compatibility with 2006 and newer vehicles.
   
• VAD-Pro has full K-Line and CAN connectivity.

Vehicle Database

When performing a vehicle scan using VAD Mobile, the tool will search through
the extensive list of every possible VW/Audi ECU to determine which ones are
present in your vehicle. To save time, VAD Mobile includes a database of
pre-defined vehicles where all of the ECU's found in that specific car have been
identified and saved in the Vehicle List. For each model contained in the
current VAD Vehicle Database, we have denoted all of the ECU’s present,
and their individual communication rates.

This vehicle list is by no means exhaustive and is being updated
on a regular basis. If your exact model is not shown in this list,
do not fear; there is a simple procedure with VAD to
add your vehicle to the database!
